Privacy Policy – Salaat

1. Data Collection

Salaat does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data for advertising or analytics purposes. We

do not use advertising SDKs, analytics tools, tracking technologies, or third-party marketing

services.

2. Location Data

If you grant location access, your device location is used to calculate accurate prayer times.

Location data is processed on your device and may be used to request prayer time calculations

from a third-party prayer time API (Aladhan API). No personally identifiable information is

transmitted. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

3. Prayer Time API (Aladhan)

Salaat uses the Aladhan API to retrieve prayer time calculations. When requesting prayer times,

limited data such as geographic coordinates or city name may be transmitted to the API service for

calculation purposes. Salaat does not control the Aladhan API’s data practices. You can review

4. Push Notifications

Salaat may use Apple Push Notification services (APNs) to send prayer reminders. Apple manages

device tokens for notification delivery. Salaat does not use push notifications for tracking or

profiling. Notifications can be disabled at any time in device settings.

5. In-App Purchases

Salaat offers optional in-app purchases processed securely through Apple’s App Store. Payment

information is handled entirely by Apple. Salaat does not receive or store payment details. For more

Tasbih counts and app settings are stored locally on your device only. No usage data is transmitted

to external servers.

7. Data Security

Salaat relies on Apple’s secure iOS system frameworks and encryption for network communication.
